Q3 2026 Recap
New city, new school, and a quiet summer followed by great abundance
The summer kicked off with my move to Del Rey. I joined Primal and soon after discovered that it is much more than just a gym. It’s an incredible community. I love the events they host and their educational workshops. From somatic practices to silent tea ceremonies to intuitive music jams, they offer a place to be present, active, and connected. My handstands have progressed and my hands have built up some callouses from the pull-up bar. Next up, I’m working on frogs!
I had plenty of time to write this summer, so I released the following articles on The Patient Scientist:
An in-depth video and article on a gut microbiome study.
An article on rethinking blood tests, in particular, reference intervals.
A second article on rethinking blood tests, in particular, sampling frequency.
A third article on high-frequency blood tests, in particular, monthly testing.
On HarariArt, I also wrote about art therapy and shared an art experiment.
After all that writing, some incredible opportunities arose…
An aspiring patient scientist in Germany reached out to me! My next article is going to feature her.
Superpower asked me to write a product review for them. I was flattered!
Rythm enjoyed my monthly testing article so much that they offered me a job. I’m grateful we get to work together on a flexible basis, while I’m in my masters program.
Oh yeah, I started my masters program in art therapy! My professors and cohort are all kind and passionate people.
My days are filled with movement, music, and art. And I’m happiest when I’m exploring my curiosities and connecting with others.
Speaking of connection, I found incredible fulfillment in launching the Metabolic Collective (MC) Storyteller’s Workshop. I ran 10 meetings, where I coached people in telling their stories of metabolic healing. Participants joined our group calls from all over the world, and I facilitated some of those calls in Spanish and English simultaneously. Every single storyteller inspired me. Their stories are incredible, and I’m honored when they give our workshop a shoutout. It’s the gift that keeps giving.
ImYoo got that SBIR grant we applied for! They shared other exciting news with me. I think it’s too soon to share publicly, but I’ll just say that I’m grateful to still be along for the ride with them.
With the PCSIG, I submitted our comment to the FDA. We’re directly informing US regulation and policy! I’ve also been planning a Multiomics Conference, which is happening in Q4. It’ll be cool to have so many incredible minds in one room.
Balancing biotech and art in these ways has been an engaging process. I feel lucky to get to design my life and look forward to closing out the year with a deeper understanding of what nourishes and energizes me.
As always, I’m grateful for my health. We’re at 145 uL at the moment. The micropipette has been a game-changer and, while sleep can still be a challenge at times, we’re figuring it out. More insights and updates to report in Q4, no doubt. Until next time…
